is an alliance of concerned citizens including civic, business, religious,
and health care organizations.
Our Mission:
Long Island Citizens for Community Values is committed to significantly reducing sexual violence and the victimization of children, women and families in the Long Island Metropolitan area by educating the citizens and legislators on the harmful effects and crimes associated with pornography.
Long Island Citizens for Community Values (LICCV) is a not-for-profit organization that has been in existence for over fourteen years fighting to reduce sexual violence against children, women and families. We have made tremendous strides in this battle.
LICCV assists and supports government agencies drafting legislation and initiating laws that protect against sexual violence and exploitation and encourages the reinforcement of these laws.
We have developed extensive Education and Awareness programs, which reach across the New York metropolitan area. We have developed an extensive Victim Assistance program to provide help to those devastated by the effects of pornography.
We mobilize and assist citizens to become pro active in their community in an effort to protect that community from new adult establishments.
In order to more effectively address the growing pornography problem on Long Island, we have sought extensive assistance from a recognized national expert in this field, the National Coalition For the Protection of Children and Families. NCPFC is one of the pioneers in the battle to reduce sexual violence against children and women and is presently the national leader in this field.
LICCV is prepared to launch a new, more aggressive fight against the ravages of pornography and sexual violence on Long Island.
